PROMISES TO TAKE WITH YOU TO YOUR PRAYER CLOSET

13And the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, "Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?' 14Is anything too hard for the LORD?  Genesis 18:13-14

17"Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.  Jeremiah 32:17

27"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?  Jeremiah 32:27

36Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37For with God nothing will be impossible."  Luke 1:36-37

20Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21

32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Romans 8:32

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking
 7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  Matthew 7:7-11

23"And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.  John 16:23-24

13And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.  John 14:13-14

24Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.  Mark 11:24

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.  1 John 5:14-15

7And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.  Luke 18:7-8

Our Compassionate High Priest
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  Hebrews 4:14-16

Come, my soul, thy suit prepare:
   Jesus loves to answer prayer;
He Himself has bid thee pray,
   Therefore will not say thee nay.

Thou art coming to a King,
   Large petitions with thee bring;
For His grace and power are such,
   None can ever ask too much.

With my burden I begin:
   Lord, remove this load of sin;
Let Thy blood, for sinners spilt,
   Set my conscience free from guilt;

Lord, I come to Thee for rest,
   Take possession of my breast;
There Thy blood bought right maintain,
   And without a rival reign.

While I am a pilgrim here,
   Let Thy love my spirit cheer;
As my Guide, my Guard, my Friend,
   Lead me to my journey's end;

Show me what I have to do,
   Every hour my strength renew:
Let me live a life of faith,
   Let me die Thy people's death.
