"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25) 

When I was in despair and gloom,

 And couldn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel,

It was Jesus, who prayed for me,

That gave me hope to continue.

When I was caught in the shackles of sin,

And had now way to get out,

It was Jesus, who prayed for me,

That made me free.

When I was going astray,

Like a lost sheep,

It was Jesus, who prayed for me,

That brought me back to His loving arms.
